Bloom where you are planted
I’m Martina Copetti, a freelance florist based in Gemona, Udine—Northen Italy, and Plantina Flowers is my labor of love.
Since 2020, I have been crafting weddings and event arrangements inspired by gardens—wild like meadow flowers, fragrant like forests, and free from any human constraints. On request, I also design custom, romantic scenographies for shops, restaurants, and public spaces.
In 2018, I studied Floral Design at the Covent Garden Academy of Flowers in London, but my heart drew me back to Friuli Venezia Giulia, my native land. From childhood, I’ve been enchanted by meadows and gardens filled with local flora, which remain my greatest source of inspiration.
Though I don’t have a public studio, I create from my home workshop, embracing the freedom of a nomadic spirit.
I honor every commitment and can meet you wherever it’s most convenient to bring your floral vision to life.
What is my favorite flower?
I love all flowers—their colors and the subtle shades they can take, the spontaneity of wildflowers, the spring herbs, the dry autumn foliage. In my work, I enjoy incorporating elements I gather from my garden, the woods, or the fields, enriching each arrangement with textures, shapes, and scents.
I’ve always been in love with cottage gardens, Piet Oudolf-style borders, and flowers that grow through concrete and stone, in the most unexpected places. I have an unconventional spirit and enjoy breaking the rules. I shy away from anything pre-packaged, letting myself be inspired by flower stems that don’t always grow perfectly straight or identical as we might wish…
I seek the imperfection that brings beauty, the unusual harmony, and the unexpected purity in arrangements.
Nature is an endless and magnificent source of inspiration.
Let yourself be inspired, together with me.
